LEATHER OFFICE CHAIR

Having a home office has its conveniences. There is no need to worry about commuting and the weather has no real effect on your ability to get to your destination. While I do love the benefits of working from home I do hate the options in furnishings for the area. Finding a comfortable leather office chair that is attractive posed a challenge for me.

I just wasn’t very crazy about the overall design of the typical leather office chair. However, more attractive options were way too uncomfortable for me to bear. Fortunately, I discovered that Lazy Boy offers a leather office chair that looks nothing like the typical office furniture that you see everyday.

The Lazy Boy option jumped out of a catalogue right at me as if I had been shopping for that exact item for months. To be honest, I wasn’t in the market for a leather office chair at all. I was pretty much in the mindset that the seat I bought at Staples would have to do.

This Staples leather office chair was really comfy and all but it really looked awful in my space. I have no separate room for my work area so everything is pretty much out in the open. We invested in a nice desk and all of my supplies are well organized and neatly tucked away. However, the bulky leather office chair stuck out like a sore thumb.

If I was expecting company, I would have to roll the large leather office chair into the spare bedroom and hope that no one would peek into the area. The piece of furniture had a really cold look to it and it did appear as if it belonged in a professional building rather than in a home.

My other furniture didn’t gel well with the item, either. The Old World look that I struggled for years to design was interrupted by the leather office chair. I did like the comfort that it afforded but I hated the look of the piece of furniture. There didn’t seem to be another alternative so I just accepted it as part of the work-at-home experience.

The Lazy Boy leather office chair is an entirely different story. I actually use this as a focal point in the room. This piece of furniture is not only comfy; it is truly lovely to look at as well. I may work from home but that doesn’t mean that my house has to look as if I do.
