DON"T ALLOW THIS! Get a decent car alarm system and always leave your vehicle doors locked; even when you're driving. Every time you stop at a light or stop sign, an assailant has the opportunity to walk up and enter your vehicle. If it's locked, he will commonly move on to the next opportunity. They want it to be easy. So keep them locked out. In combination with a loud car alarm system, this is a great defense.

So many individuals with nice vehicles invest in a car alarm system to protect their investment. This is all fine and good, but I wouldn't worry about your car getting stolen as much as I would someone entering your car and lying low until you get in the driver's seat.
