We all want breaks now and then. Little escapes and vacation getaways from the standard routine of work and home life. Without these trips, we just might go completely mad. Who knows what may happen then! Of course then there are a few of us who would prefer vacations several times a year. Sadly this only happens if we either have a trust fund, or we're a rich celebrity. Or possibly even both. I'll take the trust fund personally. Then during my vacation I don't have to worry about fans pestering me for autographs. Makes sense right? Now, where is it you would like to go? Pretend you could select any spot on this planet. Well, I can tell you where tons of people head each year; Cabo San Lucas or a beach palace Cancun getaway. Can you taste the Corona and fresh limes yet?

Just recently my 18 year old daughter informed me that she'd like to jaunt off to Mexico. Maybe test out one of the beach palace Cancun spots. I turned to her with a look of annoyance. Are you kidding me? That's no little jaunt! A jaunt is to the hardware store. Mexico is a straight-up trip on an airplane from here in the Midwest. I hope the girl has 500 in cash sitting aside for a plane ticket. It may sound a bit mean or evil, but there's no way I'm paying for a beach palace Cancun getaway. Especially if I don't even get to be part of it. And definitely not for my teenage daughter. Okay, this is how it is; although a beach palace Cancun resort may sound outstanding, I don't want my daughter going down there all by her lonesome. And that includes with any boys as well. The way I see it, Mexico is not all that safe. Especially not for kids. Any time you travel to a foreign land, you make yourself vulnerable. No longer are you protected by US laws. Now you're just a foreigner. Think about all the foreigners in our country. How well do we watch after them?

About now you're questioning the beach palace Cancun resort idea. Well don't think too hard. I'm not saying you should avoid it. I'm sure it's a blast and a half. The truth is you just need to be careful and cautious. As for your teenagers, that's a different story. If you think they're ready for a beach palace Cancun getaway, then so be it.
